Rexburg Wild Roots Co-op

Rexburg Wild Roots is a small, in-home co-op for families in Rexburg, Idaho. Designed for homeschooling families, it is a secular/non-religious program that focuses on engaging children in exploring the natural world, navigating social interactions, and encouraging cooperative play. Rexburg Wild Roots meets on Saturdays, either once a week or two times a month (depending on availability). Group meeting time is 1:00-4:00 pm Four days of play are $60/month per child. Two days of play are $30/month per child. Activities that the children have the opportunity to engage in are: ~ Group Story Time ~ Handcrafts and Art ~ Life Skills (including cooking, handwork, leatherwork, and others) ~ Outdoor Play and Exploration ~ Gardening and Homesteading Principles (including cooking food they help to grow) ~ Building and Engineering ~ Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation ~ Visits from animal friends around the area As providers we will try to document any meaningful or significant activities that can be used to meet assessments for programs like TechTrep and Overture in the state of Idaho. Due to the constraints of tending to children Rexburg Wild Roots cannot accept more than four children at this time.
