As some of our followers know, I am not only homeschooling my children, but my husband and I are also in college. I am currently taking a marketing course, and have to keep a journal of my time here.
I'm looking forward to this class, because it is focused on online business creation. The exercises from this week have been really interesting, and have helped me to redefine my focus for The Homeschoolery after Melissa needed to step away. I am hoping that I will be able to use this course to build up the visibility of The Homeschoolery, as well as get it to a point where it can run self-sufficiently without needing me to take money from my family's meager budget!
I am planning a larger than typical ads budget to see how much I can potentially make. I recognize that I will likely lose money while marketing, but I'm okay with that, as long as it can help me to accomplish my longer term goals.
